The Good, The Bad, and The...


















Cute, no? As much as I'm against the concept of disposable take out containers, this little box with a two sauce sidecar was truly ingenious. Much like Israeli Origami and it worked really well AND it was a good looking piece of industrial design to boot.

Okay, so I'm busted. Yes, indeed, those are FRIED calamari but because we're in Tel Aviv, it's served with aioli AND tartar sauce. Kind of a mayo mayo combo, but there you are. We had stopped for a bite to eat on the serene boardwalk at Pier 23. Well... I thought it was funny.
